The EU-Erasmus co- funded project: ‘Strengthening Teaching and Research Capacities in recently established Ugandan Universities to deliver climate change resilience and green energy solutions to farming communities (STRCUU)’ is a capacity building action for two young Ugandan universities: Ndejje University and Soroti University.
The Project aims to strengthen the capacity of young universities in Uganda to contribute meaningfully to national and regional climate resilience efforts. Through enhanced training, research, and international collaboration, the project seeks to equip higher education institutions with the tools and expertise needed to support farming communities facing increasing climate-related challenges. The project will also institute sustainability of climate resilience and green energy innovations through outreach Programmes, national and regional policy engagements alongside regulatory agencies.
